Grandkid Tradition

Today we went to Winter Haven to visit Granny Dot. She enjoys taking the grand kids to feed the ducks at the lake. Granny had not done this with Cline and she wanted to have a special memory and picture with him. She prepared a HUGE bag of little pieces of bread for Cline. At first Cline was not too sure, but after Granny showed him what to do he loved every minute of it.

The ducks were so brave. They would come right up too you. You could tell that they had been feed a time or too.
Cline enjoying feeding the ducks by himself

Cline, as usual, wanted to go where he was not suppose to go. Weeds, muck, and bugs not a good combination. Granny is trying to keep in safe and out of trouble!

Granny and Cline taking a stroll down by the lake.

Before we headed back in for lunch, Cline had to take a call. He loves the cell phone and especially the keys.

After we feed the ducks, Granny had a good lunch prepared for us. She fixed old fashion chicken and dumplings my favorite. Granny rocked Parker so Cline and I could enjoy our lunch.

We had a great afternoon. Granny was so appreciative that we came to visit and making memories with her that will last a lifetime.

Good Times

Friends...Food...and Football makes for a great time.
However after the way Cline acted we may not be invited back...You can tell that Cline did not want his picture taken. He wanted to run and play in the office...Why? I have no clue...I guess terrible 2's!
Parker being sweet as always.

Parker is ready for his first viewing of the seminole game. Go Noles!

Parker is 1 Month Old

So adorable, cute, and sweet!
Paker has had a wonderful first month. The first few weeks he was fussy due to acid reflux. However the crying was not unbearable. He cries when is hungry or dirty.

A few things to remember: He may be a thumb sucker, loves to be held, and is very alert

Cline is such a Big Brother and a "BIG" helper. He likes to be involved in eveything I do with Parker

We were attempting to do the BIG Brother thing of Cline holding Parker As you can see this did not workout very well of Cline holding is brother for a picture.
Parker loves his swing

Happy Fourth of July Grandmom....Me and the boys took it easy this year. Cline and I watched the Fire Works in Bed on the TV. It was very relaxing

Paker is one week old
So off to the doctor we go

Waiting on Dr. K to arrive
GG went with us to help take care of Cline...What would we do without wonderful grandparents!

Today was our first doctors visit with Dr. Krishnadas. We love him! Not only is he our neighbor, but a great friend too. Parker weighed

Florida Keys

The whole family went down to the Keys for mini lobster season. We all rented a house together and stayed in Islamorada. I will have to say it was not considered a kid friendly house. This was Parker first out of town trip.

World Wide of Sports was a store that we went to just about everyday. In the evening we would go watch the sunset and the fire dancer. Cline enjoyed watching the fire dancer each evening.

This was the setting before sunset

Family Photo

We visited the famous street in Key West. However, the afternoon was a little hot for Parker. And of course we could not leave without Kinos

The family: Far Right Howard (Chads Dad), Roger (my dad), Susan (my mom), Suzannne (Chads mom), and then Cline.

Chad and Daddy taking a break in front of the Key Lime store.

Picture time for me and Parker. He was so good.

Cline and Me...Langston forgot to look at the camera

Another picture of me and Parker. We were waiting on Chad. He and Dad went to get the cars so we did not have to walk.

The southern most point of Florida. This was only our second time taking the picture because the first time the battery went out on the camera. Then the second go around Chad stood in front of the sign...Duh!

G-Pop is getting everything ready for Lobstering for tonight.

Here are some of the Lobsters we caught.

I caught the biggest lobster this year. He should be full of meat!

More Lobsters....Cline thought he needed to wait up on us to get home

)n Saturday, we went down to this public park to swim. It was quite peaceful and relaxing.

G-Pop is hanging out in the shade with Parker while everyone else is swimming

Thanks to Erin Stivender for making the adorable onesie that Parker is wearing

Cline playing in the park...I guess he was tired of swimming

Overall, we had a really great time. One thing to remember is that Cline learned how to crawl out of the pack-n-play.

Happy Birthday Cline

For Cline's 2nd Birthday we had a pool party and the theme was Nemo. Cline is not into Nemo but he likes to swim and enjoys looking at fish, so I thought Nemo would be a great fit. The invitations was a picture of Cline in the pool and the party favors were Nemo floates, a Nemo swim ring, or a Nemo raft.

These were the giant cupcakes that I made. The kids enjoyed them but it takes 1 box of cake mix for 6 cupcakes

I had a hard time finding a Nemo pan, so I had to make do with a Tropical Fish pan. Tori made it look as close to Nemo as she could. A special thanks to Aunt Tori (my sister) for decorating the cake. We had fun baking a decorating, but it took us all day. I don't know if I am up to it for next year, we will have to see!

Cline and Ellie thinking about what to do next...Hummmm???
While everyone was swimming and visting, Aunt Tonya and Langston took cake of Parker. Langston was sad becuse he could not swim. The night before the party he fell out of the buggy at Bealls Outlet and split the back of his head open. He had stitches and could not get wet.

After much time in the pool, it was finally time to sing Happy Birthday! Cline did not know what to think when everyone started singing to him.

Make a wish!

Thanks for sharing with Momma, Cline.

One bit at a time, Cline!

Ellie says, Yummmy!
